Dear Visitors and Congregation,

We live in an age when the proclamation of the truth of Scripture is being sacrificed on the altar of appeasement for the masses, so that we do not offend anybody. This is contrasted to the prescription, mandate, which the Lord gave us in Luke 24: 44-53 that we must adhere to. These words of Christ were part of His last testament given to His disciples and they are non-negotiable. These words serve as a plumb line for our ministry in respect to what is approved by the Lord. There are four points that are set forth:

1. We must preach God's provision in Christ alone for man's sin. vv. 44-46

2. We must preach man's repentance for God's forgiveness and deliverance from God's wrath. v. 47

3. We must preach the empowerment of the Holy Spirit for living the Christian life. vv. 48, 49

4. We must preach the Second Coming of Christ to prepare mankind to meet Him. vv. 50-53

Our desire and determination at Grace Community Church is to keep these parameters in mind in all instruction, whether from the pulpit or in the classroom and home studies. Nothing short of these proclamations will bring glory to the Lord or good to mankind. May the Lord be praised and may we be faithful to this task.
