11am – A Baby in a Basket

Many years after Joseph had died.  There was a new Pharaoh in Egypt, and he didn’t like the Israelites.  He decided to get rid of all the Israelite baby boys.  A woman named Jochebed had a baby boy.  She hid him in a basket and floated him on a river.  Pharaoh’s daughter found him, named him Moses and raised him as her own son.  Find this story in the Beginners Bible page 92 or check out Exodus 1-2:10.
