Yesterday’s Message on Sola Gratia (Grace Alone) was well received by the residents at the center. We again had the opportunity to practice “Flexibility”. The leadership decided they had no work projects for us so this gave us the afternoon to build relationships with the residents and have conversations. The people here are progressing well but they are also hurting. These opportunities to talk and encourage them are so needed and a great encouragement to them and to us.
Last night the Durocher Family did a concert and it was excellent. They are a tremendous family with a great testimony.
VBS went well again today. Pastor Greg shared the story of Jesus as our Shepherd and what He did for us so that we could become members of God’s Family. Our key verse was 1 John 3:16. The games went well and the kids seem to be enjoying the time that we spend with them.
Today pastor will be teaching on Sola Christus (Christ Alone) during the 1pm teaching time. Please keep him in prayer. This afternoon we have the privilege of being able to go to the Creation Museum.
Tomorrow is our last full day of ministry. Pray for our VBS time, pastor’s message on Soli Deo Gloria (Glory to God Alone) and the conversations we will have with the residents.
