Today we finished our final day of VBS by talking about Paul and Silas. Mike Braga shared with the kids “that even when they can’t see Him, Jesus is with them just like He was with Paul and Silas in prison. Kids can be fearless about the future because Jesus is always with them and has a plan for them.” It was a great day and has been a great week. Have had great reports from the staff about the Parents’ and kids’ response to the team from Grace Doing VBS.
Yesterday pastor “switch” and talked about Soli deo Gloria. He said he wanted to talk about Sola Christus today because of Good Friday but God also had a plan. What he shared yesterday was exactly what one woman needed to hear. She was not going to be there today so had he not “switched” she would not have heard what she needed. God’s timing is perfect. I hope you take the time today to remember the price that Christ paid for you and I on the cross.
The rest of the day we will be visiting with the residents. Please keep us in your prayers. We will be leaving tomorrow after breakfast and should be home before dinner. We’re looking forward to being back with our Grace Family to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ this coming Lord’s Day. See you soon.
