Hi, Prayer Partners,
What a joy it is to see the Lord at work! I pray that these updates help you share in the joy of what God is doing in the heart of California as we partner together to be about His business!
Last month, as we prayed in the office about reaching the children during the Easter season, the phone started ringing, answering our prayers. It turned out that we were able to give Gospel presentations to small groups of children during the four hour events in three valley locations; Fresno, Clovis and Selma. I headed up the Fresno site and we shared “Do You Know the Secret of the Easter Eggs?” Four of us from Madera and two others shared the Gospel with 128 children and 42 of them made professions of faith! From all three events, 424 children learned the true meaning of Easter and 83 became children of God! Hallelujah, what a Savior! Praising God from whom all blessings flow!
The four Good News Clubs are going strong in Madera Unified School District, with wonderful stories, reported by the team coordinators every week. Today, in Golden Valley School District, the fifth club opened at Sierra View Elem. in the Ranchos and tomorrow the sixth club opens at Webster Elementary! Flipside Church is sponsoring both clubs. Thank you, Lord, for opening these doors of ministry to the children! Pray for a strong Gospel message to be given and for many children to respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading. Pray also for the children to be discipled in the Word of God and for them to be established in the church for Christian living!
I have trained seventeen more volunteers as Administrative Workers and Bible Teachers. One team I trained was made up of two pastors who just completed seminary in Germany and they are now doing an internship with a Fresno church for six months, then returning to Germany. They will be involved in Good News Clubs and the summer ministry clubs while they are here. What great training to take back to Germany to do church planting! Pray for the training to be inspiring and helpful to those who receive it and that the Gospel will be shared around the world, making disciples of all nations!
By the grace of God, I now oversee Good News Clubs in 22 schools in 8 school districts. By His grace, I have trained 43 Good News Club workers since January. One year ago this month, I began this walk of faith, trusting God for His calling on my life and for His provision. I am so thankful for your support both prayerfully and financially. Thank you for your faithfulness and your generosity. I can truly say that God has supplied all my needs continually through you! I praise God for you! Pray that I will “keep my head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist and discharge all the duties of (my) ministry.” II Timothy 4:5
Please consider attending our Annual CEF Luncheon on Saturday, April 25th from 11-1pm at New Harvest Church at 698 N. Minnewawa, Clovis, CA. Moises Esteves, the Vice President of CEF International, over USA Ministries, will be speaking. The cost is $20 and the lunch will be catered by Pardini’s. It will be a blessed time of reflecting on all that God has done and a vision for upcoming ministry locally and across the USA! Let’s celebrate God’s faithfulness!
Serving Christ together,
Bonnie
